National Urban Livelihood Mission - NULM Department

The Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) is being implemented by the Municipal Corporation.

NULM focuses on empowering urban poor (BPL) by providing them with livelihood opportunities, skill development, and creating centers for their sustainable development. It aims to generate employment based on market needs, especially in urban marketplaces, and facilitate easy access to loans for self-employment initiatives. Providing essential services to urban homeless people is also a priority. Moreover, efforts are made to address the daily livelihood challenges of urban vendors.
